So Many Questions

I like to research things before I leap. So diving in and playing with a blog wasn't fun for me. It was tramatic. What if I do something wrong? I'm already noticing that my e-mail address is up in full view on this create a post page. Does it show up in the actual blog? Should I have created an alternate account?

  1. No worries, your email address doesn't show on the page the public (us) sees. You can completely control the privacy settings so you can be completely anonymous.

  2. Honestly, you know what happens if you do something wrong?

    Absolutely nothing.

I've been trying to learn to knit for at least a year now, and I simply cannot cast on. People have tried to show me. I feel like I'm made of failure. Thing is, though, maybe I'm just not a knitter. And that would totally be okay, because there's lots of other stuff I do better, and am more comfortable with.

Same with blogging. You're taking a course, you're trying new things - you're learning where so many of our patrons interests and mindsets come from. If, after the course, it really doesn't work for you as a tool...it's okay. :) You can delete this blog, having learned a bit about the process, and move on to something else.

Feel free to wade in as slowly as you like. I solemnly swear there are no sharks.

And let us know if you need anything, 'kay?
